Sparkless

Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino's latest film masterpiece.  I am a big fan of Tarantino's movies and this one is no exception.

The movie grabs you in within the first 5 minutes.  A Nazi (or Nat-zy, as spoken by Brad Pitt's character) officer approaches a little french dairy farmer which seems like friendly enough conversation and slowly becomes an interrogation.

Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) leads a band of Jewish soldiers in one mission; to kill Nat-zies.  And to collect 800 Nat-zy scalps.  The German soliders that he lets go free to spread the word of the 'Basterds', are left with a mark.  He does this because after the war is over they can take off their Nat-zy uniform and no one will know that they are a Nat-zy, he wants to give them something they can't take off.

Shosanna is an owner of a cinema in Paris.  She is the daughter of a Jewish family that was killed by a German officer.  She now as the rare 'opportunity' of hosting the lastest German propoganda film at her cinema and she has a plan.

The rest of the movie is trademark Tarantino with the language, camera shots, music score and of course gore.

My only problem with this film...is that I didn't see it sooner!!

LOVE IT!
